Haluan paljon kakkuja ja tuossa yllä nyt joitakin inspiroivia kakkuja ja häämekkoja by Dior & Betsey Johnson. Kakku on kuitenkin pääasia. Yllä oleva kollaasi on hiukan hädässä räpelletty googlen ja style.comin kuva valikoimistosta. Alla kuitenkin Betsey Johnsonin kevään 2009 ready-to-wear mallistosta videota. Videon lopussa tulee häämekkoja käsiraudoissa kävelevien morsianten päällä, mutta ihan yleisesti kyseinen mallisto on yksi ehdottomista suosikeistani.

I want lots of cakes and on the collage you see cakes that i found inspiring and wedding dresses by Dior and Betsey Johnson. The cake is the main point however. I was little bit in hurry when i was going through style.com and google while doing the collage... But here's a youtube clip of Betsey Johnson's Spring 2009 ready-to-wear collection. In the end of the video you see wedding dresses worn by handcuffed brides, but overall this is one of my very fave collections ever.

NARSHA by request

Joo eli tästä requestista on jo hiukan aikaa kuin myös muistakin meikkiposteistani.. mutta nyt ihan vain sen kunniaksi että yo-stressi on takanapäin (matikka oli tänää vihdoin) tuli hirveä halua laittautua kotosalla ihan muuten vaan. apua tulipas ruma olo yhtäkkiä kun pistin Narshan ja oman naaman vierekkäin =P. Mut joo eli Narsha -inspiroitunut look tällä kertaa. narshalla tuntuu olevan hiukan enempi kuitenkin pinkkiä luomilla ja minulla taasen tummempaa sinistä.

So yeah I got a request little while ago for a look by Narsha. And now that my finals are over i wanted to celebrate it in the name of some free time. Narsha seems to have a bit more pink mean while i'm having the blue dominating. This was only a inspirational look, not a copy but based on the request.
Poskipunan tein kahdesta beauties factoryn luomiväristä ja sitten tuossa yllä hieman kuvaa siitä miltä käteni näytti meikkauksen päätteeksi. Vasemmanpuoleinen kuva oli alunperin pientä hahmottelua siitä, että miten meikin teen. Teen näitä yleensä kun kokeilen jotain uutta ja saan näin paremmin visualisoitua idean päässäni + oman toteutustapani. Päätin nyt tällä kertaa sitten jakaakkin tuon ~

The blush is a mix of two yellow-orangeish eyeshadows from beauties factory's palette. The picture on the right is my hand the way it looked after I had finished doing my makeup. The picture on the left then, is some sketching of the look I did before applying anything on my face. i usually draw something like this with my awful drawing skills so I can get the vision in my head of it how i'm going to do and what i'll be doing. Sharing a sketch like this for the first time here.

En ole oikeastaan missään vaiheessa ollut tyytyväinen blogini ulkoasuun, mutta nyt tein edes ihka ensimmäisen kunnon headerin jo kohta vuoden vanhalle stalin's electrille. Inspiraatio headeriin tuli 80_PANin DISCO BABY levyn kannesta.

I've never actually been satisfied with the look of my blog. However, now i've made an actual header for stalin's electric, at last. Inspiration for it I got from 80_PAN's DISCO BABY cd cover art.

Nomoto Karia ja Twiggy myös ängetty 80_PANin tyttöjen lisäksi headeriin. Ulkoasun pitäisi näkyä parhaiten safarilla ja vähintään n. 1052px leveyttä näyttöön pitäs löytyä eli miniläppäreillä varmaan aikas shaibaa koko layout?

Nomoto Karia and Twiggy also being included with the 80_PAN girls to the header. The layout should look best with safari server and at least 1052px of width required. So.. this thingie is looking like a total shit with mini-laptops, right?

Päätin tehdä pienen harppauksen tässä challengessa ja aion kyllä ihan päivittää taas pian meikkilookeillani yms muulla sellaisilla toivotuilla postauksilla, mutta ens keskiviikon jälkeen olen vasta vapaa päivittäisestä matikan laskemisesta = kirjotukset ohi. Joten voin sitten taas käyttää enemmän aikaa blogiin ja muuhun.

I decided to do a little speed up with my 30daychallenge. I will be updating with the regular makeuplooks and such soon again but I'm dealing with my finals during the end of this month so I'm quite busy with that. But after those i'll have time again for online duties and such.

Oikeastaan kuva on huhtikuulta 2009, mutta en koskaan aiemmin ole tätä kuvaa laittanut yhtikäs mihinkään (paitsi pari viikkoa sitten flickriin), joten mielestäni se on ideaalimpi kuin jokin random, jonka luultavammin olen tännekkin jo stylevolution entryn yhteydessä heittänytkin. Kuva on ihan vain ajastimen kanssa itse otettu entisessä omassa huoneessani.

Actually I took this picture during spring 2009 and not two years ago. However, I never uploaded this anywhere (except to flickr two weeks ago) so I think this is more ideal than a random shot I probably already have shared few entries before this in my stylevolution post. The photo itself is just a shot taken in my old room with timer.

Ei ehkä niin monta kuvaa kuin mitä olis tietty ollu mahdollista heittää, mutta kun kuitenkin jo kerran tein tälläisen postauksen aikanaan (täällä), ja en erityisesti nauti tälläisten teosta, niin päätin, että nyt vaan tällänen pieni :D jotta pääsisin eteenpäin tässä 30-day-haasteessani. BTW, haastakaa ittenne siihen ken haluaa coz its phun.

Puhelimeni kun ei ole niin hirveän pimpattu vielä, niin eiköhän sen olemus aika hyvin käy ilmi näistä kuvista. Luurini kuitenkin on iPhone 3GS ja tarkotus saada sille jotkut kivat kuoret, mutta etsin vielä niitä oikeita!
Hiukset on btw kahdella ponnarilla vaikkei se oikein erotukkaan, mutta doing that for the first time.
Söin tänään hiton hyvää tofusoppaa siinä aikatalon asian food paikassa.
Äikän tekstitaidon yo-koe oli perjantaina ja lisää luvassa vielä tässä kuussa. Bye~!

My cellphone is nothing special. It's the iPhone 3GS and i guess you can see it from pictures like these pretty well. It has no any pimped details yet because I haven't decided what to do with it!
I had my hair today on pigtails even though you maybe can't see it from the photos that well *sigh*
Today I ate damn good tofu soup in this take away asian fast food place at Aikatalo. Bye~!

Itse laukku on DIESELin ja se unohtui kuvasta mutta löytyy pari merkintää alempaa ~

STYLEvolution

Hiusväristä toiseen on tullut seilattua aina sen jälkeen kun aloin meikkaamaan ja värjäämään hiuksia 12-vuotiaana. Alla on nyt sitten 2006 vuodesta eteenpäin kuvaa aina 2009 kevääseen. En ole muokannnut kuvia uudelleen vaan ne ovat minulla tallessa tuonnäköisinä kuin ne on "kollaaseihin aseteltu". Ties mitä gothic lolitasta emoskene vivahteisiin on tullut kokeiltua... Kuvat puhukoon puolestaan =)!

By the age of twelve, when i started to wear makeup, i've gone from hair dye to another. Under this text is photos from 2006 until the spring of 2009. I have not retouched the pictures. Kiharsin lisäkkeet pitkästä aikaa lauantaiselle Huoratronin tavastian keikalle. Nyt sitten kun uudestaan laitoin ne päähän en jaksanut fiksailla kiekuroita, mutta kuvaa nyt kumminkin. Huoratron itsessän oli basson tykytystä koko kehossa ja yhtä strobovalojen hysteeristä syöksettä, että oli pakko pitää silmät välillä vaan kiinni. Otherwise, meininki tosi jees!!
Okei tollasta mulle kuuluu. Sitten syy kuvavalinnalle myöskin se, että haluan toteuttaa alle listatun 30 day challengen, jonka löysin tumblrista. Koitan tätä nyt jokapäivä sitten ahertaa, mutta ilmeisesti ei haittaa jos ei ihan jokapäivä postaa kunhan tekee kaikki ~ !

I curled my hair extensions the other day for Huoratron's live gig at Tavastia club. Huoratron was an intense and amazing gig that I truly enjoyed. makeup picks of August ♥

Olen saanut aikaiseksi hankittua Make Up For Ever Face & Body -meikkivoiteen ja MACin 190 meikkivoide siveltimen, jotka molemmat voi samantien nostaa sekä elokuun ja syyskuun kosmetiikka hankintojen kärkeen (elokuussa en meikkiä ostanut).

Well, there isn't an entry for the makeuppicksofAugust which is whatsoever right now as the current month is already on it's second week. So let's forget about that. I've ended up getting the Make Up For Ever Face & Body -foundation and MAC 190 foundation brush for myself. Both of them can be put on the top place of my august and september purchases right away. (i did not even buy makeup in last month)

Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Make Up
Lähdetään faktoista, eli kyseessä on geeli pohjainen ja äärimmäisen kevyt meikkivoide, josta 75% on vettä. Pakkauksen mukaan kyseessä on luonnollinen ja satiinin pehmeä lopputulos kaikille ihotyypeille. Oma ihotyyppini on kuiva/normaali ja kun aloin levittää tuotetta, tuntui kuin aine olisi vain kadonnut jonnekkin. Tuote tuntui ensin hirmuisen epäpeittävältä, mutta kun siinä aikani naamaani sivelin huomasin kyllä että kaikki punoitus oli kadonnut kuin myös muut virheet. Sellainen olo, että ei mitään meikkivoidetta naamalla olisikaan, mutta silti iho tuntuu pehmeälle ja näyttää täysin virheettömältä.
Otsassani on kuitenkin  yksi kuiva kohta, jonka päältä muutenkin tuntuu kaikki rapisevan ja kokkaroituvan pois. Ei tämäkään aine vielä sille ihmeitä tehnyt, mutta muuten kaikinpuolin kiitettävän arvoinen tuote. Ehdottomasti mielestäni parempi kuin aikaisempi voiteeni eli MACin studio sculpt.

Let's face the facts at first. This is a ultra lightweight foundation with gel formula comprised of more than 75% of water delivers a natural and satin like result for all skin types. My own skin type is dry/normal and when I started to apply the product it felt like all the product had disappeared. I thought at first that I can't have coverage at all with this but I kept on applying it on my face (not more layers but just al-over where i hadn't yet applied any) and noticed that all the redness and other flaws were gone. Yet I felt like I had no foundation at all on my face even though my skin was soft and flawless.
I have this overly dry spot on my forehead that doesn't seem to disappear with any foundation. Only making it looking uglier. Neither did this product magic for that spot but otherwise i'm very very pleased with the product. Absolutely better than my earlier foundation, MAC studio sculpt.

Sen jälkeen kun väsäsin rakennekynnet en enää oikein voinut käyttää meikkisientä tai sormia meikatessa kun kaikenlainen moska tuntui kerääntyvän kynsien alle, joten oli jo aikakin hankkia sivellin meikkivoiteen levitystä varten. 190 on äärimmäisen hyvä sivellin, josta ei irtoa karvan karvaa kesken levityksen ja myöskin mahdolliset viirut saa samantien blendattua nopeasti, joten ei sekään ole ongelma. Kyseessä on ensimmäinen meikkivoide siveltimeni, joten en osaa verrata sitä muihin vastaavanlaisiin, mutta toistaiseksi se täyttää tarpeeni paremmin kuin hyvin.

Right after I made the acrylic nails for myself I wasn't able to use sponge or my fingers while doing makeup as all the dirt got under the nails real easy so i bought a brush. 190 is a great brush which hasn't shed a single hair on my face while doing makeup. Also all the possible streaks that may appear are easy to blend away with 190 so i don't find possible streaks as a problem. This is my very first foundation brush so i can't compare it to other ones. However it seems to have kept me happy so far.

En ole tehnyt mitään ja olen tehnyt liikaa. Tuntuu nihkeelle etten ole tosiaan pariin viikkoon pistänyt entryä ulos, mutta kyllä niitä vielä tulee.
